A mechanical thermostat is installed at the rear, which regulates the temperature in the baking compartment. (The temperature is categorised as 0, 1, 2, 3 and max. When heating up, this thermostat must be set to level 3.)

You can clean the ash from the outside by pressing / turning the handle provided on the side of the oven.

This allows the ash to fall from the grate directly into the ash compartment and can be removed immediately. This means that you do not have to remove the ash from the combustion chamber with a poker or similar, so that no ash can be spread in front of the stove during cleaning.
