The Babas Saphire is a powerful hybrid stove for anyone who wants flexible and independent heating. It can be operated either with air-dried, untreated firewood or with 6 mm pellets. This means the Saphire combines the cosy fire experience of a classic wood-burning stove with the practical comfort of a pellet stove.
Pellets or wood – the choice is yours
Whether firewood or pellets: with the Saphire, you remain flexible when heating. The integrated pellet tank holds approx. 8 kg of pellets or around 12.5 litres. Depending on the power setting, consumption is approx. 1.2 kg per hour at minimum output and approx. 2.3 kg per hour at full output. This makes the stove ideal for steady warmth over many hours.
Additional pellet tank included in delivery
The Babas Saphire comes with an additional pellet tank. If required, it can be screwed onto the already integrated pellet tank, almost doubling the pellet storage capacity.
The stove can be operated either with the standard pellet tank or with the additional tank extension. Without the extension, the capacity is approx. 8 kg or around 12.5 litres. With the additional pellet tank included in delivery, a total of up to approx. 16 kg of pellets or around 25 litres is available.
This allows the stove to be used for significantly longer in pellet operation without frequent refilling. The tank extension is especially practical for anyone who values longer and more consistent heat output.

Efficient heat for larger living spaces
With approx. 10 kW nominal heat output and 90% efficiency, the Babas Saphire provides strong, pleasant and efficient heat. The heat is released evenly and naturally into the room – without a disturbing fan.
New model with electromechanical safety system
The Babas Saphire is equipped with an electromechanical safety system. In the event of increased temperature in the fuel feed channel, it automatically interrupts the pellet supply and helps protect against possible burn-back. The integrated battery supports the safety mechanism and provides additional protection during operation.
The combustion chamber is lined with high-quality firebricks and stores heat efficiently.
The robust steel body, solid door hinges and heat-resistant handles ensure a long service life and safe handling in everyday use.
With practical baking compartment and top plate
The Babas Saphire is equipped with a practical baking compartment, ideal for heating or preparing food. The baking compartment measures approx. 365 x 365 x 300 mm and, according to the technical specifications, can reach temperatures of up to 300 °C.
Two matching oven racks are included, allowing the baking compartment to be used flexibly right away.
There is also a usable hotplate on the top. According to the technical specifications, this can reach temperatures of up to 550 °C.

The Saphire impresses with its stable construction and is designed for daily use. With a weight of approx. 135 kg, the stove stands particularly solidly and reliably in the living space. The Babas Saphire is designed for conscious, manual heating. For safe and controlled operation, the manufacturer recommends not using the stove unattended, for example overnight. A person should be present in the household during operation.
